Rebbachisaurus garasbae is a genus of Sauropod (meaning Lizard-Footed) dinosaur, that lived in Africa during the Early–Late Cretaceous period about 99 million years ago. This massive four-legged herbivorous animal had blunt, peg like teeth, and a large gut which was necessary for digesting huge amounts of plant material. A small head, which housed a small brain, was situated on an extremely long neck, and to counterbalance this neck was a very long tail. Rebbachisaurus is distinguished from other sauropods by its unusually tall, ridged back.
