When natural, it’s opaque red or gray, and when tumbled, it’s gray with a mirror-like shine. The number vibration of nine is often utilized to assist balance the root chakra.

Hematite is the mineral form of iron oxide, one of several iron oxides. It is the oldest known iron oxide mineral that has ever formed on Earth. Hematite crystallizes in the rhombohedral lattice system, and it has the same crystal structure as ilmenite and corundum. It is mined as the main ore of iron.
