Zircon (ZrSiO4) is a naturally occurring mineral prized for its high refractive index, durability, and ancient origins—it is one of the oldest known minerals on Earth. While often confused with synthetic cubic zirconia, natural zircon is a completely different mineral species with immense geological significance and collectible value.
