Acrioceras tabarelli is a striking representative of the Ancyloceratoidea superfamily, with a shell exhibiting a distinctive uncoiled morphology. These heteromorph ammonites differ markedly from typical planispiral forms, often displaying a loosely coiled or irregularly curved shell. The taxon is renowned for its scientific relevance and rarity in the fossil record.
