Kimberlite is an igneous rock best known for sometimes containing diamonds. It is named after the town of Kimberley in South Africa, where the discovery of an 83.5-carat (16.70 g) diamond called the Star of South Africa in 1869 spawned a diamond rush.

ACTUAL AS SEEN: The image shows the EXACT specimen you will receive. The specimen has been carefully hand selected and photographed. Measurements are as accurate as possible, though be aware measuring precise dimensions can be difficult from irregular shaped items. Whilst we portray colours as close to life-like as we can, colours will vary if taken in sunlight, indoors, from monitor to monitor and device to device. Once this specimen is sold, we will update this listing with new similar selected item, with a new photo and dimensions.

Some Minerals and Crystals can contain natural traces of toxic compounds, after all, minerals are natural ores and used widely for the extraction of chemicals and compounds. For your safety we suggest you fully research the Minerals & Crystals you wish to purchase before placing an order for the items. We also recommend ensuring you wash your hands thoroughly after handling such specimens. Most Minerals and Crystals are safe in their solid state, yet some can be hazardous if broken down, so we strongly advise against grounding, crushing or breaking of the specimens purchased from our website.
