Lemurian Quartz crystals have striations (horizontal lines) on every other side of the crystal, the remaining sides had smooth texture. This is to say, three of the six sides were striated, and the other three are smooth. Other Lemurian family types have emerged and it is generally accepted that there may be any number of sides that are striated, making it a Lemurian Seed crystal.
