Spinosaurus, which means Spine Lizard, is a genus of Theropod Dinosaur who lived around 112 to 97 million years ago. Spinosaurus was among the largest of all known carnivorous dinosaurs, possibly larger than Tyrannosaurus & Giganotosaurus, and was recognisable by a long crocodile-like snout & a large spine sail on its back. Spinosaurus was well adapted to roaming land or water, making it the first dinosaur that was able to swim. It likely spent most of its life in the water and had straight conical teeth, perfect for catching fish!
